What is the 100 Themes Challenge?
100ThemesChallenge is a group that started on deviantART that aims to inspire artists with a challenge. Many artists suffer from artist block from time to time, and sometimes the best way to fix it is to appeal to the side of our nature that rises to a challenge. They hope to motivate artists of all types with themes, short prompts, and contests. 100 Themes Challenge simply gives artists a starting point... you go from there!
My Goal:
I started the 100 Themes Challenge in August of 2019. I began the challenge with the intention of building my portfolio by sharpening and testing my illustration skills. I aim is to complete the 100 Themes Challenge in sequential order, each with a fully illustrated digital art piece. My end goal is to be able to self-publish a personal art book containing each of the illustrations. I can oversee my own personal growth as an artist from the start to the end of a challenge this way as well.
